Having previously been engaged, amongst other things, as a professional
dancer and a prop designer within the fashion industry, Dutch designer
Ellen Truijen’s bag collection is the result of her initially making
pieces for herself which friends and acquaintances then wished to
purchase.

Formally launching her eponymous label in 2002, Ellen Trujen’s bags are renowned for their refined minimalist design, where timelessness, sobriety and simplicity are the order of the day. Employing a muted colour palette of softest leathers ranging from goatskin to suede, these are bags stripped down to their bare essentials with all detailing being strictly functional, including Truijen’s signature double leather straps for multiple wearing options.
