Unique womenswear label Humanoid originated in Arnhem, Holland amidst the punk scene of 1980 via a collective of fashion designers, musicians, printmakers, jewellers and photographers.

The stealthily popular label takes as its raison d'etre the concept of "comfortable luxury"; fabrics that envelop the body in beautifully draped designs that stand out in their simplicity. The clothes and accessories often have surprising, even hidden details, the subtleties of which sometimes only become apparent when worn. Through simple adjustments almost every garment can be worn in more than one way and may also be combined to create the signature Humanoid layered look.
