Maria La Rosa accessories, developed from a multi-disciplinary approach
to weaving, macramé, knitting, crochet and embroidery, include bags,
selected clothing, scarves, socks and homewares.
Maria La Rosa accessories, developed from a multi-disciplinary approach to weaving, macramé, knitting, crochet and embroidery, include bags, selected clothing, scarves, socks and homewares.
All textiles from the collection are the result of a strictly manual process performed on antique looms that are completely void of mechanically moving parts. Each step, from laying out the warp-yarn and passing it through the reeds and heedles, binding and wrapping it into the warp beam, to the actual weaving, is done exclusively by hand.
With a predilection for carefully selected natural fibres such as cotton, raffia, linen, silk, chenille, cashmere and alpaca, the Maria La Rosa label is made entirely in Italy in limited runs, with each item being finished by hand.
