BRAND FOCUS / A DETACHER
New York label A Détacher has gathered a cult following in Manhattan and beyond, due to designer Mona Kowalska’s unique take on prints and patterns which she applies to structured jackets and dresses and splashes across grown-up knitwear.
Exclusive to Couverture in the UK, this season’s collection takes inspiration from stylish grandmothers, contrasting mature shapes with youthful details such as the classic Cora cardigan which features playful pink embroidered flower motifs and rolled knitted shoulder inserts.

Our stand-out piece is the Thelma V-neck top with its gathered tuck detail at the back of the neck set against an oversized houndstooth print – a real statement piece! We’ve anchored it here with the classic stylings of the Sonia A-line skirt in raw silk with an inverted pleat.
Rounding off our A Détacher collection this season are coordingating accessories in beautiful caramel leather, including the Ellroy open toe T-bar sandals as well as the Amelia narrow belt, both of which look fantastic with just about any outfit, smart or casual.
The elegant Willa bag, meanwhile, comes with double-layered scalloped edging and a detachable belt, making it a very versitile little piece, sure to be used time and time again.
