Engineered Garments has arrived!
There’s no time for post Olympic blues – we’re too busy getting excited by the latest arrival from one of our favourite brands…..
If you didn’t already know, Engineered Garments was founded in 1999 by designer Daiki Suzuki, the name originated from a hired pattern maker who was drafting the first round of patterns at the time and she claimed that the clothes were not designed but “engineered” due to the vast amount of detailing involved in each garment.
This season sees a grey/red flannel “Miner” shirt accompanied by a grey wool herringbone “Truman” jacket. The “Truman” jacket is slightly heavier than the usual “Andover” or “Baker” jackets associated with our stock. It carries 5 exterior pockets and 3 inner – plenty of storage for your everyday essentials!
The “Truman” also comes in olive wool flannel fabric with the usual rayon sleeve lining to make it easy to slip on. A new style; the “Tab Collar” shirt, not only is the floral print exquisite but the cotton flannel makes it the most comfortable shirt in your wardrobe.
Engineered Garments weren’t the only thing to perk us up… We’re now stocking South2West8, distributed by the same company as Engineered Garments.
South2 West8 was established in 2003 by Nepenthes Co. Ltd. From the start they have focused in producing detailed and long-lasting sportswear and accessories. We have received 3 styles of bag from the Ballistic Nylon collection – all black with ballistic nylon, black leather and black hardwear…
All items in-store now and keep a wide eye open out on our website for them to hit online.
