Here at Garbstore, we are dedicated to seeking out the best in design and craftsmanship and to provide a platform. On a recent trip to Tokyo we discovered Sanpak, a bag company steeped in history with an impressive archive of styles. Founded in the 1950’s, they were suppliers of the Japanese Forces using military spec nylon and hardware. For AW17, Garbstore have collaborated with them on three exclusive styles: Walkabout Cross-Country Rucksack, Tear Drop Rucksack and Walkabout Fanny Pack. The Garbstore x Sanpak capsule collection takes original 1970’s silhouettes, and re-imagines them in modern tonal suede and Cordura nylon.
