Currently making waves within the fashion industry, Rejina Pyo combines graphic inspirations, unexpected colours from abstract art with an elegant and subtle femininity to create collections that are playful yet meticulously executed. We met up Rejina to find out more about her pre-spring collection. Who are the designers/the creative behind the brand?

Why did you choose to be stock at Couverture? What attracted you?

I think the woman that they represent resonates with our woman. You can see the personality in the selection - a real mix of interesting staples and special pieces.

What would you say is the most iconic piece within the Couverture buy?

The silver Freya skirt! Ultimate party piece.

What’s your favourite thing about Couverture?

The space feels so cosy and authentic.

What was the inspiration behind the SS17 collection?

I wanted play with contrasting silhouettes and combine different fabrics with bold colours. I love creating new looks that are unexpected and fresh.

What would you say are the key pieces for this season? What should we be buying this season?

If you’re looking for a new go-to party dress then the Agnes or Lara dress are perfect.

What do you feel are the benefits of selling in an independent boutique such as Couverture, as opposed to a department or standalone store?

There is more of a personal feel when shopping in a boutique - you can tell that everything is handpicked specially.

What would be your top styling tips for SS17?

Wear something that you have always wanted to try, be more fun and experimental but still feel comfortable.
