Story MFG: An Exploration Into A Sustainable Future

Story MFG was born out of a desire for a more authentic, fulfilling and kind approach to fashion, the fine balance between aesthetic and sustainability. This manifesto is reflected in the journey from design to production, creating garments that not only limit harm but in some way can positively benefit the earth and the people who create them. The ‘Slow Made’ tagline that the brand consistently adheres to, highlights the processes and skills that go into production, with an emphasis on natural dyes, recycled fabrics and renewable energy. The ‘Lunar’ collection is an Arabic – European fusion that nods to both cultures of the designers. A continued exploration into sustainability and craftsmanship, they utilise a mix of innovative plant-based fabrics alongside traditional techniques such as block printing, hand crochet, embroidery and weaving. The Todash Track Jacket is based on a retro sports-casual track jacket style and features ‘Palm Heart’ satin embroidery on the chest, hand-printed and dyed with natural Myrobalan, Indigo and Iron. The Short-on-Time Jacket is based on a boxy chore-style jacket and is made from a 100% Organic Cotton Canvas.
