Couverture's new AW20 Homewares Forecast is a journey of unexpected charm that celebrates the abstract in craftsmanship

Couverture's new AW20 Homewares Forecast is a journey of unexpected charm that celebrates the abstract in craftsmanship
Shot in an iconic contemporary home in Central London, the editorial highlights our and extensive roster of up and coming crafters, makers, and artists.
With much of the product exclusively produced for us here at Couverture, the new Homewares Forecast showcases the store’s carefully curated edit that features one-of-a-kind products, under-the-radar brands and globally sourced emerging designers.
Within the editorial the natural and organic form of the handmade ceramics, vases and glassware is complimented by styling them with the use of vegetables and ikebana with dried flowers. Contrasting delicate glass jars by Danish artist Helle Mardahl with melons and aubergines as well as styling exclusive off-beat ceramics from Kana and vases Dinosaur Designs with wild mushrooms, forms a mix of ingredients that perfectly spotlights the individuality of each designer and product.
As well as a host of international labels, the editorial showcases our refined womenswear selection with featured brands including Milena Silvano, Lauren Manoogian, No.6 and Batsheva.
Throughout the story we see a range of British designers that we are proud to stock such as Hackney-based Noe Kuremoto and her playful child-like ceramics, intricate hand-painted birds from the London studio of Miyu Kurihara and Tessa Layzelle’s beautifully crafted quilts made from upcycled off-cuts of materials.
