Paying homage to the humble yet contemporary style of the rugby shirt, Garbstore presents Drop Out Sports, a collection for Spring Summer 2019 focused around a turn of the century authentic rugby shirt, discovered by the brand while looking through a sporting archive.
In keeping with the original thickness and quality of the shirt, Drop Out Sports' pieces are made using only 100% organic yarns and sustainable textiles woven in England that retain the authentic weight and feel of the original. In a contemporary update yet with a nod to the past, the shirt features an asymmetrical collar closed using a rubber button, relaxed woven neck, a custom knitted all in one placket, and 2-button closure. The collar has also been woven in cotton twill for durability using traditional techniques.
The Drop Out Sports long sleeve rugby shirt is available in 5 custom colours, an un dyed natural, navy blue, red, dusty pink, olive and white. The line includes cut and sew wide striped short sleeve rugby shirts and mascot short sleeve crew t-shirt in a bold cut and sew flag patterns. Knitted and crafted in England all pieces in the range are constructed from a durable, heavyweight 380-gram cotton jersey.
