Garbstore SS15 - South Shelter

Introducing Garbstore's Spring/ Summer '15 collection, "South Shelter" - shot in a Victorian swimming pool in Manchester, the collection comprises of clean and contemporary menswear styles with a key focus on structuring layers - both in terms of garments, where great time and precision has been taken to ensure the best fit and quality in construction, and also in consideration of the construction of the fabric itself, for which different processes have been utilised to create layers and strength.

Extra dyeing techniques are used on Japanese woven Jacquards to uniquely modify their appearance, resulting in a combination of plain and printed styles, using Garbstore's speciality dyers knotweed giving the clothing a long-lasting true blue colour. Hemp has been incorporated to the collection in place of cotton, suitable for the warmer weather and also making innovative use of reimagined vintage fabrics - for which Garbstore is renowned. Most notable items in the collection are the Maintenance jacket and chinos hand-finished with paint splats in bleach and oil paint to enhance each piece'™s individuality.
