Paris, Maison and Objet September 2011

Paris, Maison and Objet September 2011
Two days in Paris for home tradeshow Maison & Objet. Amazing views from the hotel room in the Saint Germain des Paris area, overlooking the Saint Sulpice church and across to the Eiffel Tower, beautiful! A crazy and frantic Friday spent at the show attempting to see as many stands as possible. It was gorgeous late summer weather outside but with 8 halls to negotiate we had no time to see the light of day! Always fun to see some familiar faces along the way?. First stop was with Suki & Rayna on the Suki Cheema stand. Looking forward to a Suki Cheema 'studio visit' in the near future. Camilla & Camilla's cool Lucky Boy Sunday stand of knitted goodies. Album di Famiglia's delicate and subtle projected presentation of the ss'12 collection of womenswear & kidswear. Gabrielle from Lindell & Co busy writing up our new cushion order of her signature crewel worked cushions. We spied a lovely photo of Couverture?s favourite French artist Nathalie Lété on the Astier de Villatte stand. A rather unusual 'live' display at this furniture stand. And one that brought a smile to our faces!
