The Quality Mending Co

The Quality Mending Company has been on the same block of Prince Street, lower Manhattan, since 2002, at which time, the vintage shop operated under a different name. It became increasingly apparent that select in-demand items were getting more difficult to track down, so in response, they started making their own products in 2010. During that time they found an old sign in an antique fair that read 'The Quality Mending Co', and the rest is history. Since then, have operated the entire business under that name. Drawing inspiration from the vintage clothing and accessories, the collection has an of-the-moment sensibility. The high quality, modern fitting garments feature elements of heritage designs with a respect for the way things 'ought to be done' all of which is meticulously crafted within two miles of NYC, if not in their basement. Highlights from the latest release include a shearling-lined collarless jacket from the lining of original M65 army surplus and a roomy Americana tote constructed from vintage bandanas both exclusively available at Garbstore in the UK. The latest arrivals from Quality Mending Co. are online now.
