Walking In Seventy

Walking In Seventy
Garbstore AW15 'Walking In Seventy'ÂÂ focuses on the British Pastime of Rambling (walking through the countryside) with a particular interest in the 1970's. Across the range this can be seen through fabrics and styles reminescent of the 70's. In keeping with Garbstore's penchant for post war clothing, and adaptation of the past, a range of ramblers are represented. Garbstore's jersey embraces sportswear fabrics of the 70's with velour, towelling and microfleece garments that are interchangeable as more casual items or functional sportswear. Throughout the woven selection appropriations and recreations of real vintage pieces and fabric treatments allow for a wider telling of the story. This ranges from sturdy outerwear to casual tailoring brought together through fuctionality and practicality. The detailing as usual gives authenticity to the collection with vintage zips and buttons. Garbstore's Made in England Knitwear is also back for another season. The inspiration for the knitwear is always heavily rooted in knitting techniques and the creation of interesting knitted textiles. This season particularly focusing on combining different techniques within the individual pieces. Release Date: September 2015 - To view entire collection click HERE.
