Mii, the acronym for "Made In India", two "i"'s for a meeting between two countries and between two textile designers. Mii's universe is created by two visions and four hands. Bappan Dutta is an Indian textile designer, Lucie Bourreau a French textile designer. They met in 2006 and have been working together ever since to create beautiful designs using the textile "savoir-faire" for which both of their countries are famous. Their collections, mostly contemporary, have been imagined and designed in Paris, then woven, printed and embroidered by hand in their workshop in Kolkata. Mii carefully select only the best quality yarns to weave their scarves. Only the most beautiful cotton, khadi, silk, linen, wool and cashmere are used - either solely or mixed - to create soft and inviting fabrics that fall perfectly and comfortably.
