Dutch textile designer Mae Engelgeer launched her eponymous label in 2008, having studied applied arts, textiles and styling. From the outset her collection has garnered a loyal following amongst the design cognoscenti and Engelgeer’s work is characterised by sharp graphic designs and punchy colours. “Bright colours in combination with patterns is really Mae… I want my designs to be a piece of art in any interior, so they have to stand out!”
