Loyalty embroidered linen tea towel by Coral & Tusk.
Designer Stephanie Housley founded Coral & Tusk in 2007 whilst living and working in New York as a textile designer, specialising in woven fabrics. Travels to India and the array of craftsmanship she saw there inspired Housley’s subsequent inimitable handling of colour and surfaces. The unique hand drawn-look embroidery pieces originate from a drawing or a hand embroidery design which is then scanned and re-drawn in stitch form with software attached to Housley’s embroidery machine, allowing her to maintain her own style of mark-making.
