Bored of polished perfection and mass production in design, Siri Skillgate set up DUM KERAMIK in 2018 which roughly translates to ‘dumb ceramics’. She makes playful plates, bowls and vases in her studio in Malmo, Sweden which feature her trademark distorted smiley. Skillgate’s products thus balance a happy medium between artistic expression and homeware.
