Solid gold is durable and naturally resistant to tarnish. Higher-karat gold is softer and more prone to scratches, while lower-karat gold is harder due to alloyed metals. 9ct gold may tarnish slightly on the surface, but this is normal and can be gently polished to restore its shine.

Wearing Your Jewellery

• Solid gold can be worn daily and during normal activities without risk of tarnishing.
• Remove jewellery during intense exercise, or activities where it could bend, scratch, or catch.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals or chlorinated water, which can affect lower-karat alloys.
