Miyu Kurihara

Inspired by both Japanese kimono design and traditional Asian ceramics, German born, London based artist Miyu Kurihara crafts and paints ceramic ornaments by hand, paying meticulous attention to every intricate detail. Having learned brush techniques and textile design in Japan and London, she incorporates these skills into her work, using traditional blue and white porcelain craftsmanship that originated in China and Japan.
